February 2017 Update

It has been nearly two months since our first student, Alondra, was put on our site. The time is flying by. We only need $230 more for her tuition!

I've had a few questions this month about where your donation dollars go, so I'd like to take the time to explain that.

We are a 501(c)(3) registered with the IRS and the state of Florida. All donations are tax deductible. We will email tax information to all donors in January.

If you choose to donate through any student's page,( http://www.oneworldtuition.org/students/ ) the entire donation goes to them. We do not keep a dime.

If you choose to make a recurring monthly donation, (set up in the footer of the website) it will go to a student. When we get multiple students on the site, (coming soon!) it will go to whichever student has the closest approaching deadline.

If you click "donate" on the top right of our website, you can follow a link to donate to our operating costs. This will go to us, not the student.

If you would like to donate through check or cash, you can certainly do that as well. Please make sure to put a note with it to tell us if you want the money to go to students of operating costs. Checks can be made out to One World Tuition and be sent to the address below.

We had a board meeting this weekend to discuss a new group we would like to partner with. If all goes well, we'd like to have some of their students on the site by early summer.

Our most exciting news is that I am planning a trip to Nicaragua this year. I will be able to visit the school Alondra attends, the school she graduated from and the dump where she lives I will be able to interview new students for the site as well!

Thank you for your continued support. Together we can make a difference.
